Albuquerque’s Freshest Variety of Latin Products

At El Mezquite, we’re local and we love our city. We have for over 20 years! With 5 locations to serve you, we’re here to provide only the freshest latin products. We hope to introduce people to new foods and cultures through our food. We take pride in our quality and look forward to sharing the El Mezquite experience with you! 

At El Mezquite, we care about our communities and we strive to be directly involved in our city. Over the years, we have created community promotions to show our appreciation, such as :

Vacuna Por Pavo or “Flu Shot for a Turkey” – This is where we give out free turkeys for those receive free flu shots in November to promote health during flu season. We work closely with the Mexican Consulate and Walgreens to make this event a success. 

Letters to Santa – At El Mezquite, we love the children of our community and we strive to put smiles on their faces. Ever year, we host a giveaway for kids who write letters to Santa. They drop the letters off at our stores and we select winners from each location. We surprise them with a gift from their list. 

El Mezquite Backpack Giveaway – Every August, we stuff backpacks with school supplies for local kids and prepare them with the things they need for a successful school year. 

El Mezquite Golf Tournament – We collaborate with UNM to provide scholarships to Hispanic students in our city. We are strong believers in educating our youth. 

Mother’s and Father’s Day Celebrations – We honor the mothers and fathers of our city by hosting annual celebrations and festivals to show our appreciation for all they do in our community.
